Easier Mobile Checkout Means More Sales

Although Domino’s Pizza has had an Android app since 2012, they are always looking to make mobile ordering easier for their customers.  In this effort, they have recently integrated Google Wallet into their app to make it easier for customers to pay for their meal.  They have also given customers the ability to sign up for Google Wallet right from the app, so that once a customer has used the app once, they can return again and again.  Domino’s reports that fully 40 percent of their revenue came from mobile and web ordering in 2013 – meaning that online orders are on track to eclipse phone ordering in the near future.  This should provide a wake-up call to Dominos’ competitors that customers are being educated to expect easier and more friction-free ordering – AND they reward those vendors with loyalty!
